Saree Pre-Pleating

SAREE PRE-PLEATING DETAILS

• Sarees to be dropped-off at least 10 days prior to your event, at my home studio in Seng Kang. Please come down personally as I need to take your measurements.
• No companions allowed for saree drop-off. This is my home, so kindly respect my privacy.
• Sarees will be box folded by default.
• For fluffy centre pleats, sarees will be hung on a hanger with a dust bag. Additional $10 will apply.
• Additional $10 will apply for pre-pleating of stone-work sarees.
• Please let me know during saree drop-off if you want fluffy centre pleats.
• Certain materials (e.g., satin, chiffon, georgette, etc.) do not require pre-pleating. If you’re unsure, please check with me before booking the pre-pleating service.
• For plus size clients, please stitch additional cloth of 0.5m of the same colour on the inner end of the saree so that we get sufficient centre pleats.
• For fluffy centre pleats, please stitch additional cloth (length mentioned below) in the same colour on the inner end of the saree:
  • Regular size clients – 0.5m
  • Plus size clients – 0.75m
• Once I’m done with pre-pleating, client shall arrange for self-collection.
• For hanger-hung sarees, collection to be done in person, no delivery/pick-up services allowed.
• I shall not be responsible for bringing the sarees to your appointment if you do not arrange for self-collection.
